Credits & banking
Pwnkemon meters scans in credits. Every paid plan comes with a monthly grant of credits. Unused credits roll into a bank up to a per-plan cap, so a quiet month carries value into a busier one. Cancel your subscription and the bank is forfeited.
Why credits, not scan counts
A flat "100 standard scans per month" quota punishes the user who only needed three deep scans, and helps no one who needed a hundred and one. Credits let you spend the budget the way that matches your work this month — and the bank means quiet weeks aren't wasted.
What a scan costs
Each tier has a fixed credit cost charged on completion. A scan that fails before doing any work costs nothing.

Banking rules
- Top-ups are monthly. Your bank gets the plan's monthly grant added on each billing anniversary, capped at the bank ceiling. If you're already at the cap, the grant is suppressed (you don't get charged twice for credits we can't give you).
- Spending is FIFO from the bank. The agent draws credits as it completes scans; we never bill mid-scan.
- Failed scans are free. If the agent crashes before producing any LLM cost, no credits are debited.
- Downgrades re-cap the bank. Drop from Pro to Starter and your balance is squashed down to the Starter bank cap (450). Anything above is forfeited.
- Cancellation forfeits the bank. The whole balance drops to zero on
customer.subscription.deleted. This is the design — it's why "skip a month and the credits carry over" works.
